Tackle your weight: Adult January weight loss programme

Fit Millers is a free 13 week programme for men and women aged 35-65 who are overweight or obese.

The programme is delivered on a Monday evening for women and a Thursday evening for men, 6.00pm-7.30pm at New York Stadium.

Each week we work through 45 minutes of discussion topics on healthy eating, activity, hydration and alcohol followed by 45 minutes activity. The activity sessions are tailored to those new to exercise, or those who have been out of the swing of things for a while.

The project is aimed at football fans meaning all aspects of the session are delivered within New York Stadium, and includes a behind the scenes stadium tour, a visit from a first team player and 2 free tickets to an RUFC game.

Previous participants have lost up to 4 stone, reversed diabetes, reduced medication, got back to playing sport and made a whole new group of friends.

The next project start date is w/c 11th January 2021.
