Spring Spectacular set to take place this April at Gulliver’s Valley
A Spring Spectacular is set to take place at Gulliver’s Valley in Rotherham this April.
The theme park will be transformed from 1 – 23 April, with a whole host of ‘eggscellent’ Easter and sweet-treat-themed attractions on offer.
Visitors can walk through an interactive Candy Forest, complete with Lollipop Trees and Colossal Candy Canes, and take some Sweet Selfies along the way, with a number of themed photo opportunities across the park.
The Easter Bunny will also be making special appearances, plus visitors will also be able to take part in brand-new family games and attractions.
Andy Flowers, resort manager at Gulliver’s Valley, said: “We’re so excited to be hosting a super sweet Spring Spectacular this April.
“It’s a great value way for families to make magical Easter memories with our choc-full of fun experiences and candy-themed photo opportunities.”
A number of accommodation options are also available, enabling visitors to make the most of their visit and enjoy ‘sweet dreams’ with a sleepover stay at the park.
The Spring Spectacular 2023 is part of Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts’ year of celebration, marking the family-run company’s 45th anniversary.
The business was founded in 1978 by Ray Philips and his late wife Hilary, who opened the family’s first theme park, Gulliver’s Kingdom in Matlock Bath, beginning a life-long passion for the family to provide great value days out and short breaks to generations of children across the UK.
Today, the company boasts four parks across the UK, having launched Gulliver’s World in Warrington in 1989, Gulliver’s Land in Milton Keynes in 1999 and Gulliver’s Valley in Rotherham in 2020.
A variety of special events and activities are planned across all four of Gulliver’s UK parks throughout 2023, including a variety of themed accommodation, popular character appearances, a unique programme for school and residential visits as well as continuous plans to further develop the parks with new rides and attractions.
