Northern College Level 3 Management Skills and Knowledge Course
Do you need a management course for your team leaders, supervisors or aspiring managers?
Our fast-track Level 3 Diploma in Management Skills and Knowledge will provide the knowledge, understanding and skills required to work as a Team Leader or Supervisor.
The next cohort will study over nine weekends at Northern College alongside online tutorials that can be arranged to suit the student. The next course will run from November 2021 to March 2022.
The course will:
- Focus on the study of management within different occupational areas
- Give students the opportunity to demonstrate the skills, knowledge and behaviours they will need to operate as a successful Team Leader or Supervisor
- Develop skills and knowledge in a range of areas relevant to their role, such as leading and managing people, building relationships and communication, operational and project management, finance and personal effectiveness.
The course is only £724 per student. There is also the option to stay residentially for an additional cost, allowing students to focus on their studies. Students can also access funding themselves for this through Adult Learner Loans.
All students must be in a team leader or supervisory role, or have the opportunity to ‘act up’ into the role to be able to meet the assessment requirements of the qualification.

Customer feedback:
“We’ve commissioned Northern College to develop and deliver a number of bespoke training sessions for us aimed at staff, volunteers and local community groups working with us to develop the gardens. Each time they’ve really understood what we’re wanting to achieve and come up with sessions that are interesting, engaging and challenge participants’ thinking.”
