Future proof your workforce

Businesses in Barnsley have faced many difficulties over the past two years affecting workforce productivity. The Future Proof Workforce programme will work with 250 Barnsley-based SMEs to aid business recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. The programme runs until September 2022. This support is funded by Barnsley Council and will come at no cost to businesses.

Eligible businesses will go through an assessment with a specialist consultant to identify key issues affecting their business. An action plan will prioritise further work around areas of support, including:

• organisational human resources
• leadership and management
• workforce mapping
• workforce development and culture
• employee mental health
