Donate Your Old PC’s to Charity
Affinity IT have recently been helping out local charities in the South Yorkshire area with donations of PC’s following one of their largest clients willingness to put their old PC’s to good use.
Back in March of this year (2019) Richardson Milling UK took delivery of new PC’s from Affinity IT and sent the ones they were replacing back with specific instructions to do something good with them.
With that in mind they decided to try and help out charities local to Affinity.
Via their social media we asked if anyone could benefit from them and following that Affinity have helped the following 10 charities with PC donations;
Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice
The Cathedral Archer Project
Element Society
Hallam Cash for Kids
Known Valued Loved
Mums in Need
SCCCC
The Montgomery Theatre
Weston Park Cancer Charity
Whirlow Hall Farm
Since Affinity donated all of these some of their other clients have come forward to donate their used PC’s for them to pass on.
As the project has now grown and more charities are asking for help Affinity need more used PC’s to help them.
So they are asking for donations of PC’s that are in working order and that a charity could find of use to help them deliver their great work.
If you have a PC you’d like to donate please get in touch with Tom Jackson via email [email protected] or on 0114 362 7000. Affinity sort out cleaning the machines down in line with GDPR regulations and pass them on to charities who have registered with them.
If you are a charity reading this and would like to register to go onto their waiting list then then you can contact Tom Jackson via email [email protected] or on 0114 362 7000.
