Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce its upcoming International Women’s Day event, using the 2024 theme #InspireInclusion, to be held on the 8th of March 2024 at the historic Wentworth Woodhouse. Sponsored by Rotherham-based manufacturer AESSEAL®, this event promises to be an empowering celebration of women’s achievements and contributions in business.

International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global day of celebrating the achievements of women worldwide, and this year’s campaign theme is #InspireInclusion. The focus is on inspiring others to understand and value women’s inclusion, forging a better, more inclusive world. The event aims to create a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment for women who belong to the South Yorkshire business community.

Elle Smith, Event Coordinator, Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce said; “Hosting International Women’s Day at Wentworth Woodhouse adds a special touch. It’s not just a venue; it’s a place with local history, making our event even more meaningful.”

“This venue provides the backdrop for a day of reflection, sharing, and inspiration. The significance of hosting this event underscores our commitment to creating an inclusive events programme which includes all our members.”
