Neilson Hydraulics & VHS Hydraulic Components are appointed the official UK distributor for IMO

Rotherham based Neilson Hydraulics & Engineering Ltd and its sister company Sheffield based VHS Hydraulic Components Ltd that produce power packs, hydraulic systems and supply a vast range of hydraulic components have been the appointed the official UK distributor for IMO, a specialist in turning and slewing solutions.

Made in Germany, IMO specialises in antifriction bearing technology. The company provides a wide range of Slew Drives and Slewing Rings that can be used in a variety of applications including forestry, agriculture, mining, manlift platforms, maritime applications, machine construction and plant engineering.

Rob Turner, Managing Director of Neilson Hydraulics and VHS Hydraulic Components said: “We have been working closely with IMO for nearly 10 years now on different projects and this news of the appointment in both companies comes with great excitement. We look forward to more collaboration with them in the UK marketplace.”

Neilson Hydraulics and VHS Hydraulic Components supply hydraulic components and solutions to companies in the agriculture, construction, engineering, farming, materials handling, marine, plastics, recycling and steel industry. The group also designs and manufactures hydraulic systems, power packs and cylinders at its two factories in Sheffield and Rotherham, in close proximity to the Advanced Manufacturing Park.
