Local apprenticeship providers RNN Training and their partner Colleges; Rotherham College, North Notts College, Dearne Valley College and University Centre Rotherham will be commemorating National Apprenticeship Week 2022, from the 7-13th of February.

The 15th annual week-long event will see the education providers join the nationwide celebration as they look to highlight the wonderful work of apprentices, staff and local employers.

The theme for this years’ National Apprenticeship week is ‘Build the Future’, where RNN Training and their partners will be displaying how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for a rewarding career.

Throughout the week, the apprenticeship providers will be taking to social media to share exclusive access to videos, stories, interviews, awards and behind the scenes footage of the day to day lives of apprentices, as the highly anticipated week takes over.

Jason Austin, CEO and Principal for RNN Group (parent organisation to RNN Training, Rotherham College, North Notts College, Dearne Valley college and University Centre Rotherham) underlined the crucial role that apprenticeships play in key industries, both locally and nationally.

He said: “Apprenticeships represent the perfect opportunity to learn, gain experience and earn an income, as well as becoming an increasingly important bridge between education and the workplace.

“Our apprentices operate across a large array of industries, ranging from Business and Engineering to Healthcare and Hospitality. Their amazing work, alongside our partner-employers, plays an integral part in the development of key industries across the UK.”

RNN Training and their partners have worked closely with local employers, local government, apprenticeship tutors and apprentices ahead of the week-long celebration. Prospective apprentices and anyone who is interested in National Apprenticeship Week 2022, can have their questions answered and follow all content on RNN Training and it’s partners’ social media channels.

RNN Training and it’s partners are passionate about supporting the local economy and raising the skill levels in our community.
