Award-winning Sheffield agency, Hydra Creative, are putting their money where their mouth is to support two deserving causes during the Covid-19 lockdown.

The agency was founded more than a decade ago by the current owners, and they have pledged that for the next 3 months, they will be donating 5% of proceeds from all new work, to two charities that are very important to them. Half will go to the agency’s Charity of the Year 2020, St Luke’s Hospice, and the other half will go directly to NHS Charities Together.

Hydra Creative take corporate social responsibility very seriously, and are really passionate about giving back to charitable and community causes whenever possible.

Managing director, Ryan Daniels, explained: “This is an extremely difficult time for all businesses – and even more so for charities who have seen a significant portion of their income disappear almost overnight. Without income, charities are unable to continue to provide the essential support and services that so many people rely on. As a digital agency, we are very lucky and privileged to be able to continue working through this crisis, albeit with all the team working from home, and so we knew that we had to use our position to help others wherever possible.

As well as donating money to our chosen charities, we are also supporting the general business community through providing free digital marketing advice and strategy, which has had a great take-up so far from businesses who are struggling to see a way out of this. We are just a tiny part of a much larger network of businesses and organisations who are stepping up to support the economy, society and our NHS, but together we can make a real difference.”
