Gulliver’s Valley has invited a host of local charities into the park to help raise vital funds in the lead up to Christmas.

The Rotherham theme park has given space in the resort over to charities to sell merchandise and fundraise throughout the festive period.

Different charities will be in the park each weekend before Christmas, as well as when the park opens from December 20 to 23.

The charities which have already secured space at Gulliver’s Valley are: The Children’s Hospital Charity, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Bluebell Wood, Rush House, Sheffield Minds, Roundabout, Paces, Thornberry Animal Sanctuary, Weston Park Cancer Charity and Bluebell Wood.

There is still space to host a charity on Sunday 5 and Saturday 11 December. Interested charity representatives should contact Adam Bliss at Gulliver’s Valley via email at [email protected].

Andy Flowers, resort manager at Gulliver’s Valley, said: “We are so proud to be part of the South Yorkshire community and we’re always looking for ways to give something back. These charities all do such important work and we’re thrilled to be able to host them at Gulliver’s Valley and offer a helping hand.

“We have a wonderful programme of festive fun planned and our generous guests will have the chance to learn more about these local charities and donate whatever they can.”

To celebrate the most wonderful time of the year, Gulliver’s Valley will be full of Elfie mischief and fairy fun, with festive rides and attractions for big and little thrill seekers to enjoy.

Tickets are still available for Christmas events at Yorkshire’s newest theme park resort. Discover Festive Friday adventures, Weekend and Premium packages plus Tinsel Tots experiences.
