Mental Health Awareness Week 2023

Mental Health Awareness Week

Join us in raising awareness and supporting mental health. #ToHelpMyAnxiety.

This year’s theme is anxiety, and we invite you to join us in promoting Mental health awareness, reducing Mental illness stigma, and improving Mental health and well-being.

Anxiety is a common Mental health concern that can be challenging to manage. Exam pressures, relationships, new job or job loss, major life events, and financial worries can contribute to feelings of anxiety.

To help individuals manage their anxiety, we provide a range of Mental health resources, including tips, tools, and support services. We also believe in the importance of Mental health education to reduce stigma and promote advocacy.

The Mental Health Foundation, offers accurate, evidence-based information on Mental health issues, including anxiety. We encourage everyone to seek Mental health support when needed, and explore the information on different support options, including therapy, counselling, and self-help resources provided by the Mental Health Foundation.

As Mental health advocates, we believe that policy changes can improve access to Mental health resources and services. We also believe in the power of community education and engagement to promote Mental health awareness and reduce Mental illness stigma.

Join us for Mental Health Awareness Week and let’s work together to promote Mental health and well-being for all.

Normalising mental health support in organisations

May 18th at 9:30 am - 10:20 am

The average days off work due to mental health increased to 4.8 days per employee in 2022, costing businesses an estimated £18 billion. Westfield Health’s recent research into the attitudes around mental health found that 30% of respondents felt their mental health had worsened in the past year. 51% said it had impacted their productivity at work and a third of respondents stated they have no support for their wellbeing at work.

It’s clear there’s a growing mental health crisis in the UK, but stigma related fears may prevent employees from discussing their mental health with their employer or line manager.

So how can organisations normalise and improve conversations around mental health in the workplace?

To celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week, join our webinar to hear from our experts as they discuss how organisations can create a culture that prioritises mental health by challenging the stigma and highlighting the workplace support available.
