Join us on the 1st of December from 5.30-7.30pm for our next MD Club networking event. We invite South Yorkshire’s businesses, academics, and organisations to come and engage with the research being done to identify and combat workplace burnout.

Our expert panel, including leading academics in Psychology and Wellbeing and Public Health Research from both Sheffield Universities, will provide evidence-based recommendations on how to recognise and act to prevent burnout, resulting in improved well-being in your workplace and your own working practices.

This will include:

  • key findings from the UpLift trial, which looks into digital approaches and easy-access interventions employed by NHS staff
  • how Sheffield Hallam University supports its staff and other local organisations to manage their own health through improvements in lifestyle through ‘Corporate health and wellbeing: Supporting employees and businesses

Speakers:

  • Vikki Laker, Post-Doctoral Research Associate for Rotherham Doncaster & South Humber NHS Trust and the University of Sheffield, Trial Manager of UpLift
  • Dr Anouska Carter, Principal Researcher and Lead; and Dr Tom Maden-Wilkinson, Associate Professor – Physical Activity, Wellbeing and Public Health Research Group, Sheffield Hallam University

The event will be open from 5pm and the speeches will begin at 5.30. This will be followed by food and networking for a 7.30pm close.

Venue: Heartspace Atrium, Sheffield Hallam University, Howard Street, Sheffield, S1 1WB
