Quarterly Economic Review: The Results

27th January 2021 at 9:00 am - 10:30 am

| Free

The Sheffield City Region Economic Review provides important feedback on how business is faring while monitoring trends and issues in the regional business economy. Join this webinar to hear the results from the latest economic survey.

The Quarterly Economic Survey, run by the British Chambers, is the country’s biggest and longest running private sector survey which acts as an economic indicator, often highlighting big changes in the economy long before other surveys or other official statistics. The Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee use the QER as a key benchmark when setting interest rates.

Hundreds of businesses in the Sheffield City Region (SCR) participate in the Quarterly Economic Review each quarter to feed back on how their business is faring to help us to monitor trends in the local economy.

The results are used by the Chambers of Commerce, SCR Local Enterprise Partnership, SCR Growth Hub and other lobby groups to influence local, regional and national governments and decision-makers and to help shape the support structures available to the local business community.

To ensure you are up to date with local policy and for your chance to influence it, do not miss this interactive event.
