Support Dogs is a national charity based in Sheffield providing life changing specialist assistance dogs for children and adults with autism, epilepsy, and physical disabilities.
Throughout the training process all our dogs and pups stay overnight in the loving homes of volunteers.
We are looking for new volunteers to look after our young puppies in training both full time and just to provide holiday cover, when our full-time volunteers need a break. Puppy Socialisers play a vital role in looking after and supporting the socialising of a young puppy from about 8 weeks old until they start full time training at 14-month-old.
We are holding monthly information sessions that are a great opportunity to find out about the role and speak to other puppy socialisers. Our next session is at 1pm on Monday 12th June.
