The Northern Powerhouse (NPH) is home to approximately 4,000 Agri-Tech companies across various industries including plant science, animal science and precision agriculture, with significant expertise in agri-tech, food processing, life sciences, advanced manufacturing and bioeconomy. The sector is one of the key industries in the Northern Powerhouse and one we are targeting for support as part of the levelling up agenda.

Over the coming months, the Department for International Trade (DIT) will be hosting a series of events in partnership with our overseas teams to help companies in the sector access international markets and grow their businesses through exporting. These will include opportunities to meet international buyers, learn from market-specific webinars and hear from experts in Agri-Tech. LATAC B2B Matchmaking Event

Companies from the Northern Powerhouse will have an opportunity to pitch directly to representatives from companies in the LATAC region. Each company will have dedicated time to pitch and ask about their next steps to winning international business. More information coming soon.
