We are pleased to once again be joining millions of other women and men, world-wide celebrating the massive contribution that women make to our lives, in business, and the community. Please join us on Friday 8th March 2024, at Wentworth Woodhouse for a day to reflect, share and be inspired by peoples’ personal journeys.

IWD 2024 campaign theme: #InspireInclusion

When we inspire others to understand and value women’s inclusion, we forge a better world.

And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there’s a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment.

The aim of the IWD 2024 #InspireInclusion campaign is to collectively forge a more inclusive world for women.

We are delighted to announce the host of the event is the Chamber’s CEO, Carrie Sudbury and we have a stellar panel of guests to answer a Q & A session as well as great line up of speakers which include:

Sarah McLeod – CEO of Wentworth Woodhouse

Sarah was engaged as the first CEO of Wentworth Woodhouse in May 2017. Since taking on the role she has established a successful trading company, and launched the Wentworth Woodhouse Masterplan “A New Life” which details the £130 million regeneration programme for the site. Sarah joined the National Lottery Heritage Fund Northern Committee, where she is part of the team making decisions on grant requests between £250,000 and £5million.
