Course Information

The CIMA Certification Level Qualification are designed for those who have no prior experience or qualification in accounting and want to work towards Chartered level studies with the same awarding body. The Certificate is made up of five modules:

• BA1 Fundamentals of Business Economics
• BA2 Fundamentals of Management Accounting
• BA3 Fundamentals of Financial Accounting
• BA4 Fundamentals of Ethics, Corporate Governance and Business Law

The CIMA Certificate in Business forms a solid grounding for those who want to learn more about a career in business and finance and forms the basis of the CIMA Professional Qualification. The CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting is a valuable qualification in its own right.

Course Structure

The CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting is currently available via distance learning upon request. Delegates enrol for one paper at a time and receive a dedicated tutor support throughout their studies. Material is emailed weekly for delegates to work through and then return a piece of work for marking to the tutor. Once the tutor is satisfied that the delegate has understood the subject for that week, the next material is then despatched. Support is available via email and telephone.

Assessment

Each module is assessed via a 2-hour computer based assessment.
