Intelligence-led Covid-19 testing
More than 10,000 Rotherham residents have come forward to get tested for Covid-19 since new temporary drive-through testing centres were set-up in the Borough.
Thank you to everyone for this phenomenal response.
Curtain will go up at Civic Theatre in Spring 2021
Rotherham Council has made the difficult decision to postpone the re-opening of Rotherham Civic Theatre until Spring 2021, but is reassuring staff and visitors that the theatre’s doors will reopen again, once the Coronavirus pandemic is over.

Be a Barnsley Superstar – face coverings to protect your community
Barnsley Council is standing by their promise to be more proactive than ever in taking measures to combat the transmission of Coronavirus (COVID-19). They are providing an initial 25,000 reusable face coverings free of charge for Barnsley residents as part of the ‘Be a Barnsley Superstar’ campaign which launched at the beginning of June.
